Created while preparing for Comic Con 2026, this tribute to the Pink Ranger is both a celebration of pop culture and a reflection on childhood memories. For many of us who grew up in the 1990s, the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was more than just a television show—it was an introduction to heroism, teamwork, and imagination.
This piece pays homage to Kimberly Hart, the original Pink Ranger, portrayed by actress Amy Jo Johnson, whose character became one of the most beloved and recognizable heroes of the franchise. The sleek, iconic helmet immediately evokes a sense of nostalgia, transporting viewers back to Saturday mornings filled with action, adventure, and the belief that ordinary people could become extraordinary heroes.
Created entirely in Procreate, this artwork serves as a reminder of the stories and characters that shaped my creativity as a child. It is a tribute not only to a pop culture icon but also to the enduring power of nostalgia and the memories that continue to inspire us as artists and fans.
